As you already know, DAVE Embedded Systems is part of Prometeus – Preterm Brain-Oxygenation and Metabolic Eu-Sensing: Feed the brain – the European project set to transform neonatal intensive care.
Prometeus aims to change the paradigm of preterm neonatal care and nutrition through a Clinical Nutrition Advisor, designed to guide intravenous parenteral intake in preterm infants and ensure the nutritional needs required to achieve optimal brain oxygenation are met.
As a project partner, our role is to develop the cloud-based app that hosts the digital twin neonate. With its dual interface, the app supports healthcare professionals with nutritional guidance and alerts from on-body monitoring tools, while also giving families secure, real-time updates on their baby’s wellbeing and progress in the NICU.
The development is powered by ToloMEO, our new suite for Edge Data Orchestration and Industry 5.0, designed to enable advanced data management while configuring, controlling and monitoring device fleets in the field.
Stay tuned – Prometeus is moving fast and we’re excited to share what comes next!
