AM335x - DIVA

Processor:  Texas Instruments "Sitara" AM335x

DIVA is a CPU module based on Texas Instruments "Sitara" AM335x Cortex-A8 application processor. It is built with SO-DIMM 204 pin form factor and it offers lots of graphics, processing, peripherals and industrial interface options, allowing customer to implement cost-effective designs.

The Programmable Real-Time Unit and Industrial Communication Subsystem (PRU-ICSS) adds further flexibility and enables additional peripherals interfaces and real-time protocols suc us EtherCAT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, PROFIBUS, Ethernet Powerlink.

DivaEVB-Lite

DivaEVB-Lite is a carrier board designed to host Diva SOM. It can also act as an adaptation board used in combination with DACU carrier board (please see below).

DACU

DACU (Dave Automation Control Unit) is a carrier board that can host various DAVE SOMs, like, for example, the Diva CPU module. When used in combination with Diva SOM, DACU requires the use of DivaEVB-Lite acting as adaptation board. The overall system looks like the following picture and it is composed of Diva SOM, DivaEVB-Lite and DACU carrier board:
