SBC UNICA is a new solution within DAVE Embedded Systems’ Open Frame product line, designed to provide a clean, efficient and highly reliable integration for 7‑inch and 10‑inch display systems. Tailored for industrial, medical and advanced HMI applications, UNICA combines the robustness of a professional Single Board Computer with a mechanical design optimized for direct installation inside panels, kiosks and embedded devices.

The open‑frame layout allows fast assembly and seamless integration, thanks to native support for PCAP touch displays and a compact housing that significantly reduces design time and engineering effort. Built on modern ARM technology and powered by one of DAVE’s high‑performance SOMs, UNICA guarantees energy efficiency, fast boot time and full compatibility with Linux Embedded and Yocto—making it ideal for responsive interfaces and always‑on systems.
