DAVE Embedded Systems and DITEDI present Tech&Law: a three-part webinar series on digital compliance and cybersecurity

9 September 2026

To help businesses, developers and technical leaders navigate these changes, DITEDI and DAVE Embedded Systems are launching Tech&Law, a three-part webinar series focused on the intersection of technology, cybersecurity and European regulations.

The initiative aims to transform regulatory requirements into practical engineering decisions, providing a clear understanding of how regulations such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), NIS2 and the evolving AI regulatory framework will impact product development and software engineering processes.

Focus Session: Cyber Resilience Act, from Requirements to Product Decisions

A key event within the series is the webinar"Cyber Resilience Act: from Regulatory Requirements to Product Decisions", scheduled for 22 September 2026. The session will explore how the CRA is influencing product architectures and development practices as organizations prepare for upcoming compliance deadlines.

Topics covered include:

  • Secure-by-default product design
  • Secure software update mechanisms
  • Attack surface reduction
  • Vulnerability management throughout the product lifecycle
  • Software Bill of Materials (SBOM)
  • CVE-based vulnerability monitoring
  • Secure boot, hardened Linux distributions and secure OTA updates

Using real-world examples and case studies, participants will discover how many of the CRA requirements can already be addressed using technologies and methodologies available today.

A Comprehensive Journey Through Technology and Regulation

The CRA webinar is the second event in a broader series addressing the major regulatory challenges shaping the future of digital innovation, from secure software development lifecycle practices in the era of AI and NIS2 to the latest developments in AI regulation.

The objective is to provide organizations with practical guidance, helping them understand not only what the regulations require, but also how to translate compliance into concrete technical and organizational strategies.

Why Attend

For electronics manufacturers, software developers, system integrators and product managers, Tech&Law offers a valuable opportunity to understand how emerging European regulations will influence the design, maintenance and lifecycle management of digital products.

At a time when cybersecurity, software transparency and vulnerability management are becoming essential market requirements, gaining practical, implementation-oriented knowledge is more important than ever.Tech&Law helps organizations move beyond compliance theory and focus on the engineering decisions that will shape the future of digital products.
