The ONDA SOM from DAVE Embedded Systems is a System on Module based on the Xilinx/AMD Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC processor, designed for advanced industrial applications requiring high scalability, heterogeneous processing capabilities, and real‑time functionality. Thanks to its combination of ARM Cortex‑A53, Cortex‑R5, Mali‑400 GPU, and high‑performance programmable logic, ONDA SOM can handle complex tasks such as graphics, video, and accelerated computing while maintaining the reliability and power efficiency expected in embedded environments.
The ONDA Evaluation Kit (EK), available as a dedicated development platform, provides designers and integrators with all the tools needed to quickly evaluate the module, enabling efficient hardware and software prototyping. Although not described in detail in the available sources, the Evaluation Kit is typically designed to offer a complete environment for testing SOM interfaces, validating application functionalities, and accelerating the development of solutions based on Zynq UltraScale+
ONDA SOM Evaluation Kit is the official support platform for evaluation the ONDA SOM. This evaluation kit includes:
