EYE diseases diagnostic is one of the possible business areas in the medical segment. DAVE Embedded Systems' know how on HW design and SW integration was crucial for this project. In fact the usage of NXP i.MX6 Dual Plus processor in a plastic enclosure without any active heat sink required a deep study and learning on how to dissipate heat. Another sales point was the know how around Android integration. Integrate Android 6.0 requires deep learning on Linux kernel and Android AOSP which permits to customize the Android environment to the requested specifications.
