The kit includes the SOM, the dedicated carrier board, power supply, adapters, and a microSD card with the pre‑installed BSP, enabling immediate system startup.

Thanks to pre‑assembled components and ready‑to‑use interfaces — such as Ethernet, UART, and SPI/NAND flash memory — the kit allows developers to test the entire platform within minutes, access the serial console, and begin software and hardware development without complexity.

BORA Evaluation Kit is the official support platform for evaluation the BORA SOM. This evaluation kit includes:

the hardware with all useful items (power supply, cables, etc)
The software pre-installed in a SD card
The right to access to DAVE Embedded Systems’ repositories
A live session (typically 4 hours) with tech team from DAVE Embedded Systems for:
a) Virtual Machine configuration and first Hello World
b) Evaluation board schematics review for fast hardware design startup
Carrier board design review: once your board schematics are ready, we are available for review the design together and provide a first Device Tree Structure example based on your design
