AXEL ULite Evaluation Kit

The AXEL ULite Evaluation Kit is the quickest and most intuitive platform to start developing with the AXEL ULite SOM, the ultra‑compact and low‑power solution based on the NXP i.MX6 UL/ULL processor. The kit includes everything needed to accelerate prototyping: the SOM pre‑assembled on the carrier board, a 7” LVDS display, power supply, serial adapters, and a pre‑configured microSD card with a ready‑to‑use Linux system.

Designed for immediate startup, the kit allows developers to quickly test SOM features, perform the first boot, connect via serial or Ethernet, and begin application development without complexity. The system is configured for automatic boot and provides a complete environment to evaluate interfaces, performance, and connectivity easily and professionally.

Description

AXEL ULite Evaluation Kit is the official support platform for evaluation the AXEL ULite SOM. This evaluation kit includes:

  1. the hardware with all useful items (power supply, cables, etc)
  2. The software pre-installed in a SD card
  3. The right to access to DAVE Embedded Systems’ repositories
  4. A live session (typically 4 hours) with tech team from DAVE Embedded Systems for:
    a) Virtual Machine configuration and first Hello World
    b) Evaluation board schematics review for fast hardware design startup
  5. Carrier board design review: once your board schematics are ready, we are available for review the design together and provide a first Device Tree Structure example based on your design
