ETRA SOM Evaluation Kit

The ETRA SOM Evaluation Kit is the official platform to quickly begin developing applications based on the ETRA SOM, the DAVE Embedded Systems module built around the STM32MP1 processor. The kit includes everything needed: a pre‑assembled SOM, dedicated carrier board, power supply, cables, and a microSD card preloaded with the factory software for an immediate, hassle‑free boot.

With interfaces such as Ethernet, USB, UART, SD, MIPI, and LCD, developers can rapidly test hardware and software functionalities. The kit also provides access to DAVE’s repositories, complete documentation, and a dedicated technical session with the support team to accelerate design and reduce time‑to‑market.

In short: a complete, professional, and ready‑to‑use solution, ideal for evaluating the capabilities of the ETRA SOM and quickly turning ideas into working prototypes.

Description

ETRA SOM Evaluation Kit is the official support platform for evaluation the ETRA SOM. This evaluation kit includes:

  1. the hardware with all useful items (power supply, cables, etc)
  2. The software pre-installed in a SD card
  3. The right to access to DAVE Embedded Systems’ repositories
  4. A live session (typically 4 hours) with tech team from DAVE Embedded Systems for:
    a) Virtual Machine configuration and first Hello World
    b) Evaluation board schematics review for fast hardware design startup
  5. Carrier board design review: once your board schematics are ready, we are available for review the design together and provide a first Device Tree Structure example based on your design
