In the new era of Internet Of Things, customers are requiring to add connectivity and new functionalities on their products. Customers are also keen to product longevity and hardware/software maintenance. For these reasons DAVE Embedded Systems has designed a new solution based on AMD Zynq® UltraScale+™ MPSoC devices EG family usefukl for any harsh environment including the defense and space market.
Dual- and quad-core application processor equipped devices deliver maximum scalability, and are capable of offloading critical applications, such as graphics and video pipelining, to dedicated processing blocks, along with a full complement of integrated peripherals and connectivity cores suitable for next-generation systems. For the most compute intensive processing tasks, integrated programmable logic offers up to 100X performance improvement over processor-based implementations. With this design, DAVE Embedded Systems provides its customers with a platform that benefits of the latest AMD technology together with the compatibility with the existing SoM product line. Business continuity and product maintenance are the key words around this product including high reliability options like conformal coating, sealing and lead process manufacturing for avionic and defense applications.

ONDA Plus is a high-performance System-on-Module (SoM) based on the AMD Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC family, designed for demanding industrial and embedded applications.
ONDA Plus offers up to 4 ARM Cortex-A53 cores, a real-time ARM Cortex-R5 core, a Mali-400 MP2 GPU, up to 4GB DDR4 RAM, and extensive connectivity options including Gigabit Ethernet, USB, CAN, and PCIe.

ONDA Plus SOM adopts a structured versioning system. The PCB version is physically printed in copper on the board itself, allowing immediate visual identification.

Each ONDA Plus SOM includes a unique serial number printed on a white label and a ConfigID stored in an internal I²C EEPROM. The ConfigID is used by software to detect the product model and hardware configuration.
