DAVE adds VxWorks (Wind River) and FlashFX (Datalight) support to PowerPC platforms.

In order to answer to the pressing demand to add Real Time capability to Power PC CPU modules (PPChameleon) and platforms, DAVE decided to include this feature to the existing range of products.

DAVE's choice has been straightforward: VxWorks as a Real Time Operating System and FlashFX as a companion file system.

VxWorks from Wind River is an undisputed reference in this field, and adopting this RTOS is a great leap in achieving even more stable and performing hard real time systems. FlashFX from Datalight is a flash media manager and represents the best choice to grant a reliable and flexible file system as a support for the OS.

Both VxWorks and FlashFX have been succesfully ported on DAVE's PowerPC platform and BSPs are now available for customers.
